5. Concealed LED “Cove” Lighting
If your entryway has a tray ceiling or a slight architectural recess, hide an LED strip inside the cove to wash the ceiling with light.
- Why it works: You don’t see the source of the light—you only see the warm glow reflecting off the surfaces. It is arguably the “coziest” type of lighting because it mimics the natural, diffused light of a sunset.
