11. Felt Cloud and Star Garland

Bring a touch of the sky indoors with a felt cloud and star garland. This project is simple, inexpensive, and adds a playful element to the nursery. Cut cloud and star shapes from white or pastel-colored felt, using a template or freehand. For a soft, fluffy look, cut two identical cloud shapes and glue them together around the edges, leaving the center slightly puffed.
String the shapes onto a length of twine, yarn, or ribbon, spacing them evenly. Hang the garland along a wall, above a window, or draped across a piece of furniture. For extra dimension, mix in a few metallic or glittery stars for a subtle sparkle. This garland is lightweight and easy to move or update as your decor evolves.
