2. Cardboard and Fabric Frame
Cardboard may not sound glamorous, but when wrapped with pretty fabric, it turns into a lightweight, elegant frame. This idea is perfect for patterned fabrics, scrap material, or coordinating home decor themes.
Materials
Cardboard
Fabric
Hot glue
Scissors
Photo
Ribbon or backing board
Instructions
Cut two cardboard pieces into your preferred frame shape. The front piece should include a window opening. Cut your fabric slightly larger than each cardboard piece. Wrap and glue the fabric around both pieces. Glue the two fabric covered pieces together, leaving one side open to slide in your photo. Add ribbon loops or a backing board to finish.
Style Tips
Use linen or canvas fabric for a minimalist look, or choose floral and geometric prints for a bold, fun statement.
