2. Floating Frame Pressed Florals
Empty walls can be expensive to fill, but these floating frames are a budget-friendly way to bring nature indoors. By using two identical dollar store picture frames, you can create a “sandwich” for dried flowers that looks like it belongs in a botanical gallery.
- Materials Needed:
- Two identical picture frames (wood or plastic)
- Dried or faux flat flowers
- Clear tape or a tiny dab of glue
- Hot glue gun
- Steps:
- Remove the backing and the glass from both frames.
- Discard the backings; you only need the glass and the frames.
- Arrange your dried flowers on one piece of glass.
- Place the second piece of glass on top and secure the edges with a tiny bit of clear tape.
- Hot glue the glass “sandwich” into one of the frame rims.
Pro Tip: Use light-colored wood frames for a Scandinavian look, or spray them matte black for a modern, industrial vibe.
